The People Behind the Petals & the Purpose
Our team leads with big hearts and bright blooms, turning donated flowers into thousands of reminders that every person matters. From staff to board members to volunteers, we are united in one purpose: to build community, spread joy and make sure hope always blooms.
Meet The Joymakers
Kelly Krenzel
Founder/Executive Director
Kelly Krenzel is the founder, chief joy maker, hug enthusiast and main high-fiver at Hope Blooms. She leads with a blend of strategy and heart—building relationships, sprinkling gratitude like confetti and sharing her perennial love of both flowers and people.
With more than a decade of nonprofit experience, Kelly has dedicated her career to lifting others up. Before planting the seeds of Hope Blooms, she worked in communications at a hospice organization where she saw firsthand how small moments of mattering can bring light in the hardest moments. That experience deeply shaped her vision for Hope Blooms and fuels her passion for making sure every person feels seen, valued and cared for.
A storyteller at heart, Kelly’s background in communications and content strategy helps her weave together community and purpose. She thrives on creating spaces and experiences where joy takes root and gratitude blossoms.
Kelly lives in Fargo with her husband Scotty and their two energetic boys, Henry and Finnegan, who keep life full of adventure, laughter and impromptu dance parties.

Becky is known for designing programs that are organized, intentional and genuinely welcoming—spaces where everyone feels they belong.
Outside of Hope Blooms, Becky’s favorite role is mom. She loves spending time with her husband Nathan, their three daughters and their puppy, Ollie, and can often be found cheering from the audience while logging countless hours at dance competitions and recitals.
