Meet Vicky Berg, one of Hope Bloom’s dedicated volunteers!

Karina, our volunteer coordinator, shares: Vicky is so enthusiastic with everything she does for us at Hope Blooms and has such a giving heart. You feel her positive energy the moment she enters the room.

Volunteering with Hope Blooms since: 2023-and I hope to continue forever 🙂

What do you love most about Hope Blooms?
What I love most about Hope Blooms is that these gals always greet everyone they meet with a warm smile. Kelly, Katie, Karina and Molly are like little cheerleaders for our community. I adore Kelly’s enthusiasm and her laughter. I just love how they create so many moments of joy.

How do you spend your time with Hope Blooms?
I have been helping with floral pickups and also helped with a fun bouquet making event at Farmstead Living Center. I have made deliveries at RiverPointe and cut flowers at the Botanical Gardens.

What is your favorite flower and why?
I love them all! This summer I stumbled across a banana cherry petunia that was so gorgeous, but I have to say my favorite is a Dahlia.

What value do you find volunteering with Hope Blooms?
Hope Blooms inspires so many people to spread joy and kindness, whether it is at the shop at a volunteer event or during one of their many in person deliveries, these girls spark so many moments of joy and happiness and who doesn’t need that in their life!

I am just so grateful to spend time volunteering with them!
