Meet Randi Dombek, one of Hope Bloom’s dedicated volunteers! Karina, Hope Bloom’s Volunteer Coordinator, shares “Randi’s smile and positive energy lights up a room! We are so grateful for her time, energy and effort that she gives to spread more joy in our community.”

Volunteering with Hope Blooms since: 2019

How did you first hear about Hope Blooms?
Randi heard about Hope Blooms in the community and started following on social media. She then saw the call for volunteers needed and knew it was what she wanted to do!

Why do you choose to volunteer with Hope Blooms?
Her general mission in life is to make the world a better place and Hope Blooms is a perfect fit for that!

Why is giving back in your community important to you?
It is everyone’s responsible to make things better and you can use your gifts and talents in life to give back-they are meant to be shared.

In what ways do you see Hope Blooms bringing value to our community?
Knowing you are thought of makes you feel noticed and you matter in our community. It gives self-worth and creates a ripple effect.

What is your favorite way to spread joy and kindness?
Randi likes to be present in conversation and lets people know they are important to her. Also, she finds that a smile is a great way to spread joy!

Name one of the most joyful moments in your life.
Live music outside!

What is your favorite flower?
Tulips-they are one of the first signs that winter is over.

When you’re not spreading joy with Hope Blooms, how do you spend your time?
Randi is a Minnesota Vikings football fan and star trek lover. She is also a dog mom to 3 pugs.

Share a little about yourself and your family.
Randi lives in West Fargo with her husband and 10-year-old grandson. She works full-time at Bell Bank. Randi loves bright colors, glitter and new experiences.

What’s something that people would be surprised to find out about you?
Randi plays Dungeons and Dragons and you may even find her dressed up!
