Meet Hope Blooms volunteer, Carol Staiger! 

Molly, Marketing Coordinator & Operations Assistant says, “Carol is the “do-er” of all things at Hope Blooms! She is always willing to help out wherever is needed-washing jars, organizing, cleaning, creating bouquets- the list goes on! On Petal It Forward deliveries, Carol always has a kind smile and conversation for residents. Her energy and positive spirit are a joy to be around!”

How do you spend your time with Hope Blooms?

I do whatever needs doing to help out such as cleaning & washing jars, organizing the closet, cleaning the whole area, processing flowers, picking up donated flowers from stores, making bouquets & delivering flowers.  I also help deliver Meals on Wheels leaving a bouquet as a day brightener.

What do you love most about Hope Blooms?

What I love most at Hope Blooms is the energy and cheerfulness from the moment I walk in the door each day, the truly caring feeling that permeates the atmosphere.

What is your favorite flower and why?

I don’t have a favorite flower but feel that together many different flowers make a beautiful arrangement just as many different people make a beautiful group.

What value does Hope Blooms bring to the community?

As we deliver flowers, I see that Hope Blooms is spreading joy and hope to each recipient.  The smiles on people’s faces says it all!
