Assisted Living Week 2023

September 10-16 was filled with an abundance of smiles, laughter and creativity as we celebrated Assisted Living Week! During this week we visited Farmstead Living and Good Samaritan Society bringing flowers, jars and volunteers to engage residents for a hands-on-bouquet-making activity as part of our Flower Empower program. For those residents unable to join the activity, bouquets were delivered to their residences.

There were many opportunities for connection as residents shared stories and memories of flowers. Many shared about flowers that were in wedding bouquets, flowers grown in gardens or flowers given to spouses. Flowers are truly memory keepers!

Fun at Farmstead Living!
