Meet Becky Pribula, Hope Blooms Joymaker!

Karina, Hope Blooms’ Volunteer Coordinator, shares: “Becky has been a cherished part of the Hope Blooms family for over three years. Each week, she brings care and attention to processing flowers, making sure every bouquet is ready to brighten someone’s day. In addition, Becky is flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed—whether picking up flowers or helping with a Flower Empowers—truly showing her generous spirit. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and the joy she brings to our community!”

Volunteer since: 2022

How do you spend your time with Hope Blooms?

Becky assisting a resident at a Flower Empower event

I come to process flowers regularly every Tuesday Morning.  But I’m also on call to pick up or deliver flower bouquets when needed.  I also enjoy participating in Flower Empower events. I have been known to pick up some other random projects here and there too!

What do you love most about Hope Blooms?
What I love most about Hope Blooms is the mission words “you matter”.  In our hurting world, it’s more important than ever to let every person hear this message.  Flowers are a great vessel for sharing this message.  Who doesn’t love to see and smell their beauty?
I also love the social time with the people I’m with at Hope Blooms.  Everyone is so upbeat and appreciates the effort everyone puts forth while working on our projects.
What value do you see Hope Blooms bringing to our community?
No one is left out! Hope Blooms is not only reaching out to retirement communities but recovery centers of all kinds. And more….
What is your favorite flower?
Pink roses.  Nature’s perfect flower in my favorite color.
